And so it begins...

Today was my first day "on my own" in India.  Chris and Sharelee left for Hyderabad super early this morning.  It was so weird coming home from school and walking into the empty guest house.  I packed up and moved to my new room right after lunch.  It was really nice to settle in for my stay here.  I am in the room I stayed in last time I came, but the extra bed has been removed and a desk put in which is really nice to have. 

For so long, I have dreamed of being on the mission field for a longer period of time, but I don't think the reality that I am actually doing it has fully hit me.  With Chris and Sharelee here, it seemed like just another trip in many ways, but it became something completely different when we said good-bye at 3:00 this morning.  I am excited to see what the future holds throughout my stay in India!  I am praying that I will not miss anything God has for me during this time!!!
